Privacy Policy

Introduction

Welcome to the website CombineWords (the "Website"). This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you visit our Website.

Information We Collect

  • Personal Information: We may collect personal information, such as your name and email address, when you voluntarily provide it — for example, by contacting us through the Website.
  • Automated Information: We may collect non-personal information about your visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device information, and browsing behavior through cookies and similar technologies. This information helps us improve our Website and user experience.

The Combine Words tool itself processes the word lists you enter entirely to generate your results and does not store or retain the words or keywords you submit.

To prevent abuse and keep the tool available to everyone, we apply a daily usage limit per visitor. This is enforced using a one-way, salted hash of your IP address that is tied to the current calendar day only — we do not store your raw IP address for this purpose, the hash cannot be reversed back into an IP address, and the underlying daily record is automatically deleted after a few days.

How We Use Your Information

  • To respond to inquiries you send us.
  • To analyze Website traffic and user behavior to enhance our services and better understand our audience.

Disclosure of Your Information

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may disclose your information to comply with legal obligations, enforce our policies, respond to legal requests, or protect our rights, privacy, safety, or property.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no data transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of your information.

Children's Privacy

Our Website is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect or maintain information from children under 13 years of age. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will promptly delete that information.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our data practices or legal requirements. We will post the revised Privacy Policy on our Website, and the "Last Updated" date will indicate when it was last revised.
